Creating an event
Users with permission can create events and share these inside their groups, with selected individuals, teams or the entire organisation. Events can be created from the feeds

or directly from the event list
Sharing events
Depending on permissions users can share events inside their groups, with individuals, teams or the entire organization.
Recurring events
You can set-up recurring events when creating an event.
Scheduling events
You can prepare updates in advance and set the scheduling time for both publishing and deletion.
Publishing options
You will have the following options when you create an event
- Show in feed (Default setting)
- Allow comments (Default setting)
- Highlight, request read confirmation, request participation
Event lists
Users will find a listing of all their events in the events section. This list consolidate events from all groups and events shared in the organisation.

In the Web App upcoming events will appear in the right hand side of the homescreen.
Confirming participation
When you ask your participants to confirm participation the event post is sent to the tray "Awaiting reply" and it will remain here until the participant has accepted or declined the event.
Once confirmed the user can easily change the selection again if needed.
Now you can easily see who participates and who doesn't
Exporting participants
Open the menu on the post and press Export Participants to download a .csv file with an overview of participants and pending users.
Sync Ziik with your Calendar (iCal)
The Ziik calendar integration allows you see Events shared with you in Ziik in your calendar. Ziik events can be integrated with your Apple, Google, outlook or standalone calendar and are a one-way sync. Events in Ziik are communicated and updated to your calendar, but not the other way around.
