It is easy to create your organization in Ziik. This will enable automation and highly efficient top-down communication in your organization.
☝️Before you begin
- You need the Organization permission Can edit units to create Units.
- We recommend that you create your Organization and User types in Ziik before you start importing any users and creating any content.
- If your company consists of one single Unit you can ignore this article.
You build your organisation with Units in Ziik
A unit is typically a physical location such as a restaurant, shop, office, factory, warehouse, shop or similar.
How Units define the communication flow in Ziik
Users with permissions to share content can do so in their own unit and all sub-units. Here is how it works:
Users with permissions located in the top of your organization can share content with selected users in the entire organisation.
Ex.: Regional Users
Users with permissions located at regional level in your organization can share content with selected users in their own part of the organization.
Ex.: Local Users
Local Users with permissions can share content with selected users in their own unit or cluster.
Press Create unit in the Units list
Name your unit, select its parent unit and press Save. That's it!
