Step 4 - Create Content & Distribution Channels
First impressions matter, so we want to fill the platform with useful content before launch.

Step by step guide to adding content
What content should I prepare?
We often divide our content into three categories, communication, information and operations. We'll prepare the communication (distribution) channels, ensure all static content (information) is prepared and that operational procedures are ready. As there are multiple modules to use, we try to put emphasis on the modules which gives instant value and are easy to get going with.
Below we've shortlisted the modules we always tell our clients to prepare before launch.
Content examples by module
Here are some examples of content that you can make accessible in Ziik.
- Manuals - Examples of manuals can be your Staff Manual, Safety manual, Social Media Guidelines, Operational Guidelines, IT Systems, Recipes, Franchise Ops Manual, etc.
- FAQ's - Try to create 1-2 FAQ's per department, such as questions about cleaning, contracts, work clothes, emergency contacts, "how to" / "where do I find" type of questions. These are the kind of questions that you keep getting asked.
- Files - SoMe folders with images, templates, lengthy policy documents or images from the last staff party. Organise and make it available to your colleauges.
- Checklists - Daily or weekly routines, fridge checks, new employee checklist or project checklists.
- Suppliers - You may have some agreements with suppliers where you workforce can benefit from discounted prices. You can also keep supplier contact details and agreements up to date for the users who need to see that. This could be everything from office supplies, IT, maintenance, etc.
- Shortcuts - Make it easy for managers and employees to jump to your other frequently used applications and web pages directly from Ziik, such as scheduling systems, payslip, project tools, ordering work cloths or your website.
- Groups - Prepare the types of distribution channels you expect your organisation to use, such as regional groups, location groups, department groups or networking/social groups.
💡Advanced Tip: We also recommend preparing a short content plan for launch. What content should be made available during the first 2-3 weeks of launch. Some classic examples are weekly newsletters, adding upcoming social events, embracing a colleague or a launch of a competition.
