Contacts are used to quickly reach out to colleagues or suppliers.
In order to find your Contacts module on your smartphone simply start up your Ziik app. Once inside, you'll be able to spot its icon on your homepage.
While you're using the mobile app you'll be able to access all the information available in the Contacts module. You'll be able to call or email your contacts as well as look up the addresses of your different units and suppliers. What you won't be able to do is to create units, suppliers, and contacts. Should you wish to add to the content of the Contacts module you'll have to use the desktop application.
How to Look Up Information About a Unit
You'll find all your units in the units tab of your Contacts module. The units tab is the first out of three tabs you're able to choose from at the top of your screen. Once you're in the right tab you can choose to either search for your desired unit by using the filter function or searching for by using the search bar.
To use the filter function you simply click the white icon next to the search bar and select the relevant unit features.
Now that you've found the unit you were looking for you can click on its name to reveal all the information that Ziik has available for that particular unit.
How to Look Up People
The people within your organisation are listed in the people tab of your Contacts module. You again have two options at your disposal to find the person your looking for: using the search bar or using the filter function.
To use the filter function simply click the white icon next to the search bar. This will allow you to filter the results by specialities, user types, and units. You can either set filters for all three characteristics or simply set a filter for a single one.
When you've finally found the person you were looking for simply click his name. This will allow you to contact him, either by phone, via email, or via the Ziik chat.
As we mentioned in the beginning of this article, you can only edit the content of the Contacts module by using the desktop application. Thus, feel free to read about how Contacts works on desktop by reading the following three articles - How to add and manage units, How to add and manage users and How to add and manage suppliers.
