# How to update your notifications settings

## Decide how want to receive notifications, and for what type of content you want to receive them.

1\. From the app's **home screen**, click the **user icon** in the top left corner, then "Notifications"

2\. Choose if you want to **receive notifications** as **Push notifications** and/or as **Email**

3\. Choose for what **type of content** and for **which groups** you would like to **receive notifications**

**Note**: If you enable Push notifications, make sure that you have enabled them in your **device's app settings** 👇

1\. Click your **profile picture** or **initials** in the top right corner of the web app

2\. Click "**Settings**"

3\. In the top bar, go to "**Notifications**"

4\. Choose if you want to **receive notifications** as **Push notifications** and/or as **Email**

5\. Choose for what **type of content** and for **which groups** you would like to **receive notifications**
