How to manage units

Units can be anything from physical location, departments to virtual offices. The units are key in setting up your organisation within Ziik.

General Information:

  • Units are the first thing you should set-up when you are new to Ziik.
  • Before creating units, make sure that you have a good understanding of setting up your organisation.
  • If you want to edit a unit, you have to be granted the correct permissions.
  • Units are usually where your organization has their physical locations or office departments.

How to manage a unit

  1. Click the unit's profile you want to edit/manage.
  2. In your top right corner, you have "...". Click it and decide what changes you want to make.

    1. Edit unit: Under this menu you are able to change general information about the unit, change Ziik properties, and you can add a profile picture.
    2. Edit address: Under this menu you are able to change address, delivery information, and invoicing.
    3. Edit opening hours: You are also able to edit opening hours if applicable
  3. Save the changes.
  4. You are also able to view which employees are in the specific unit by clicking "Employees" in the top bar.

    How to delete a unit

    1. Head into the desired profile of the unit.
    2. In your top right corner, click the "...", followed by "delete account".

      1. You are only able to delete a unit if there are no people(users) attached to the unit.
      2. Remember: Once deleted, you cannot regret your choice.
