⚠️ Notes on Pinning
- There is no limit to how many posts, events, or polls can be pinned at once.
- Because users with pinning permissions may not see what is already pinned elsewhere in the organisation, excessive use of pinning can reduce its effectiveness.
- For this reason, we recommend that the “Can pin posts in the Main feed” permission is assigned sparingly to roles that are responsible sharing content that is especially important.
Editing pinned content
To edit any Post, Event, or Poll that is pinned in the Main feed, users need:
- Permission to edit the content.
- Plus: the role permission “Can pin content in the Main feed”.
