Ziik is designed to match the organizational chart 1:1, whether you have a small company with one single location, a regional or national company with multiple locations, or an enterprise with entities in many countries.
You build your Organization with Units in Ziik
Your Organization is built with Units in Ziik. A Unit can be a physical or virtual location. Typically you would ensure that your organization in Ziik matches your own organizational structure / chart.
Example of Units: Office, wharehouse, store, shop, factory, area, country, ..
How permissions work in your Organization
Once you have build your Organization in Ziik you will benefit from the power of the platform. Here is how it works.
- You will assign each User to his workplace in your Organization. This is one of the Units in Ziik.
- Users will have a set of permissions definer by their User type(s).
Users' permissions now work from their own Unit and the branch below.
Example: Marketing Manager
Your marketing manager working in your head office can share information with your intire organization.
Example: Regional Manager
Your regional Manager can now share information in own Unit and with all Units directly below in own branch.
Example: Local Store Manager
Your local store manager can share information with his own team.
Can a User belong to more Units in Ziik?
Yes, no problem! A User can belong to more Units and have a different set of permissions (User types) in each Unit.
Can Managers share information outside own branch?
Yes, sure! All communication in teams, channels and projects are organized using groups.
